Abstract:

This seminar/workshop provides concepts, elements and the tools used to initiate and facilitate Continuous Improvement.  ISO/QS standards require continuous improvement activities.  In this course,

  1. Management and Facilitators responsibilities are defined.
  2. Sequence of events for continuous improvement and the role of management and teams are addressed.
  3. The sessions include lectures, question and answer periods, and class exercises.

 Course content:

  • Identifying & prioritizing Continuous Improvement opportunities.
  • Team approach - charter - Mentor - Facilitator - members.
  • Management & Facilitator responsibilities.
  • Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Sequence of events for Continuous Improvement
  • Role of Facilitator in meetings - individual & group dynamics
  • Minutes - reports and communication - decisions with management.

 Who should attend:

This course is designed for personnel involved in Continuous Improvement as Manager, Facilitator or Team Member.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with data collection, quality tools - i.e. histograms, run/control charts, etc. will be most helpful.

Note:

 

1. A 10 % discount will be applied to the purchase of 3 or more registrations either on-line or via invoice.

2.  This course will not be held if there are five or fewer registered and paid attendees.
